Courtesy Posting: SHELTER BOUND - BROWNIE THE ADORABLE CHOW/SHEP/AUSSIE LOOKING FRIENDLY PUPPY NEEDS A NEW, RESPONSIBLE HOME SO HE DOES NOT END UP AT THE SHELTER! BROWNIE San Bernardino, So Cal Brownie is an adorable, and friendly puppy, approximate 7 months old and in need of a new and responsible home asap. Unfortunately, his current owner is no longer able to care for him since she is pregnant and he is more active than expected. Please note the owner does not want to take him to the high kill San Bernardino shelter and has reached out to us for help in finding him a good, forever home, but she cannot hold him much longer. Brownie is believed to be a chow/german shepherd mix, but he also has cute white patches on his chest and feet and may have some aussie in him too. He has been vaccinated and chipped already. Brownie does have a higher energy level than most chows, so his personality may be more like a german shepherd or aussie. As a result, he has been kept outside his entire life, and loves to run around in the yard. However, we are looking for a loving home who be able to also train him to be an inside pet since he has never been indoors before. Brownie weighs about 60 lbs right now, and is expected to grow get a little larger. The owner says he has no medical or behavior issues and has been okay around children, he is just more active so he may not be suitable with smaller children. Brownie has played with other dogs and been good with them so far, but does not live with any, so a meet and greet with other pets would be requested.
