Blue was brought to the Humane Society by our very own men in blue. He had been hanging around the police department and was first taken to Whitfield County Shelter but they were closed. Blue is settling in well at the shelter and is very sweet, calm, and cooperative. He does his best to keep his kennel clean and appears to be housebroken. We believe he is an Australian Shepherd/Staffordshire Terrier mix and less than two years old. A large stocky dog, he weighs fifty-seven pounds. He has a gorgeous brindle grey coat and one dazzling blue eye. He is a very friendly boy and loves attention. This amazing dog is best suited for an adult or family with older children that enjoy an active lifestyle. He looks forward to his time outdoors in our play yard and hopes his new home comes with a fenced in backyard. Blue is dog selective and would be a good companion for a large playful female. Blue loves nothing more than hanging out with his peeps. He will make a fabulous pet for some lucky family.
