About Rascal

Rascal is the most loving boy ever, he showed up behind my house with a tick embedded under his left eye, the eye looked blind, after removing the tick the eye color returned to normal within days, he sleeps with his arm over me, he is house trained for potty but I've no carpet, he hates to be caged, anytime I've kennels him he bent the wire and got out, he used to jump the gate where you go in and out of, but after watching him like a tot, I got him to stop, he also used to hide under the camper we live in when it was time to put him inside, after a few times chasing him out with a broom he gladly runs in the house now with no problem, he also goes lays down when he is told, you can not spank him he will never come to you if you do, he will listen, but he needs someone who knows how to train dogs as I'm sure he can be trained to do anything. He was neutered and given rabies shot last summer at humane society so he is due again, he has been a inside dog and he goes in and out when he wants to by me leaving the door cracked and he knows how to put his nose or use his paw to open it and come Inside when ever he wants, he has never really been around children, so I'm honestly not sure how he would be around small kids but he is great with every adult he meets so loving, I'm disabled and can not afford to take hom to vet on my small monthly salary, he is a great watch dog as will bark at stranger but has never ever been aggressive to anyone
