We are looking to rehome this beautiful girl. Her name is Mya and she is just over 1 year old. She is heartworm negative and up to date on all of her vet records. We took her in about two months ago, hoping that she would be a fabulous LGD, but she is not responding well to training with us. She would thrive in a fenced yard where she can get out some of her energy. Unfortunately, she will bolt out of the small, secluded yard housing our chickens that we have tried to keep her in. This makes it difficult to get in to even spend time with her. She is very sweet but has not responded well to any of our training attempts. We find that she is very indifferent when it comes to us, and she can be very rough around our three young children. We believe that if she had enough room to let out some energy and proper obedience training, she would make an incredible family dog. Sadly our home conditions and time restraints are not benefiting her well, and we would love for her to find her forever home.
