Tuna is a 6 year old male neutered persian cat. He can be very shy at first but once he warms up he is the sweetest, cuddliest boy. He currently lives with two other cats and two dogs. He can live with other animals but I ultimately think he would be happier as an only pet. He prefers people when they are sitting or laying down (laying down is his favorite). He has never been aggressive towards children but does not like them. He will hide when they are around. He does not like to be brushed so having him shaved regularly is a must to prevent mattes from forming. The reason I am rehoming is due to a behavior issue with him, he has done this before in the past as well. He is refusing to pee in his litter box and pees on the floor in front of it instead. He has not had any food, litter, or any other changes to his environment to bring this behavior on. He does not have any uti or medical issue that would cause this as well. I've come to the conclusion that he is just no longer happy in our home and that's why we need to find him his forever home. I'm currently 6 months pregnant and cannot continue to clean his urine up off of the floor nor can I have him doing this behavior once the baby arrives. It breaks my heart because I absolutely love and adore him but like I said with a baby on the way cannot handle this behavior. He does have a heart murmur as well but his vet has never been concerned and says it does not affect him in anyway.
