About Kona

Kona is a Husky, she is an active girl with a good temperament. With regular exercise, Kona would make a great companion. Kona is still young and would benefit from some formal training. She receives daily walks and does well on the leash. We don't believe Kona was properly socialized with other dogs when she was young, so we think it best that she goes into a home as an only pet. She requires a fenced in yard. She would be perfect for an active family and active lifestyle. Kona is quite a petite girl weighing only 45 lbs, so definitely on the small side for a Husky. Kona has been spayed, she has completed heartworm treatment and will be heartworm free, she is current on her vaccinations and microchipped. We are a rescue in Mississippi and we travel to CT monthly with our pre-adopted pets and meet with the adopters at a predetermined time and location. We can be available for a video call for a virtual meet and greet after an application has been submitted. **We are not able to adopt animals to residents of MA, NH, ME, and RI at this time. **
