DEREK - ID #A5424371 Downey Shelter, Downey, So Cal Downey has issued a 72 hour warning for this dog who is seems shy. This young dog is a stunner and has been totally mislabeled as being part chow, and I hate for him to be totally overlooked and now killed because of this. I had previously emailed the shelter to ask for a breed change and info, to no avail or replies. Someone just sent me video of this dog which I can forward if needed, he has a pink tongue, long legs, and he was running around fine with many other dogs in the playyard, and seems to just be a bit undersocialized and apparently scared of those he is not comfortable with! His tail is very long and curly like he could be part husky, but he does not appear to have any chow at all in him. I think he mostly looks like a border collie or aussies breed.
