Courtesy Posting: PLEASE HELP US FIND A GOOD HOME FOR SHY, BUT BEAUTIFUL WINNIE, A CHOW/SHEP MIX WHO RESEMBLES A LARGE SHIBA INU OR FINNISH SPITZ. WINNIE - ID #A055493 Hesperia Shelter, Hesperia, So Cal Beautiful Winnie was found with two husky friends (one male, one female), all seem to have been abandoned and they ended up at the Hesperia shelter who has reached out for our help for this dear girl. Winnie is still pretty shy but is very gentle in the videos they have sent us. The shelter says, 'She hasn't shown any aggression but has been timid and is scared of the leash, though I was able to tip-toe with her to our play yard and she appears to be potty trained. She doesn't seem to be doing well in the loud shelter setting so we're hoping she can find a great place where she can get that extra TLC to open up'. Although Winnie looks like a shiba inu or finnish spitz, she weighs 70 lbs, has a very thick coat and a partially black tongue, and is therefore believed to be a chow shepherd mix. Winnie is currently Rescue only, so we are looking for a patient and loving home and/or foster to pair with a rescue to save her. Winnie has also recently been spayed, and believed to be around 5 years old. Please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network for further information who is trying to assist the shelter with placement. We will have videos to share and will be posting them and any updates on her facebook page at:

San Bernardino County
Hesperia, California
