About Cruz

Cruz is an almost 2 year old (April birthday), Papillion/Chihuahua mix boy that is looking for a forever home. Cruz is active but also enjoys just hanging out with his person. Cruz enjoys the company of adults but does not do well with young children. Cruz does need an experienced adopter familiar with fearful behaviors. Cruz is the best boy that likes to snuggle and go for walks and be loved. He loves to play with cats and small dogs but gets nervous around large dogs. Cruz loves his people and is loyal to them but he's unsure of strangers. Cruz struggles with fear aggression and would do best in a quiet, calm household that does not entertain often or entertains mostly older, calmer friends. Cruz does still have some issues with potty training (the vet said it may be anxiety related), but he will wear a belly belt diaper all day. Cruz is crate trained and stays in his crate when his people are not at home. However, he prefers to have his crate open so that he can come and go as he pleases throughout the day.
