About Max

Meet Max, an adorable three-year-old, 40 lb. boxer/pit mix. He has had a very rough few months�'�|his owners passed away and Max, along with six other dogs, were left to the remaining family members. Unfortunately, they neglected and abandoned the dogs in the home, where they were found starving, before being seized by animal control. Despite all Max has been through, this boy is a complete love! This affectionate sweetheart enjoys nothing more than being with his people. He is friendly with everyone he meets and is always up for an adventure - he absolutely loves car rides. Max has a gentle soul and medium energy level. He's happy to play, but also content just hanging out on the couch. He loves toys, squeaky ones especially, and exploring the backyard. He does great with other dogs and would probably enjoy having a furry companion. Max is a very good boy who waits like a gentleman for his food, knows 'sit' and 'come,' is housetrained, and progressing nicely with his crate training. His ideal home would be one with a fenced yard. Max's adoption fee is $350 and he is fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
