About June

June is a 16 month old boxer shepherd mix with a brindle coat. She's a very intelligent dog who loves to work and play, and is very sweet and loyal once you get to know her. Unfortunately, June was born during COVID and had struggled with socialization. My partner and I are about to have a baby and unfortunately do not have the time and resources to give her the care she needs. We're looking for a new home for June that is willing to be patient in socializing her and can provide her with the help that she deserves. Potential adopters should be aware that June can be highly anxious when meeting new people - we'll take precautions when arranging meetings but it may take some time for June to warm up to you when she's in your care. June would likely do best in environments without children. She is used to living with another dog but can also be territorial, especially over food, so it may also be best for June to be the only dog in the house. That being said, June is very smart and trainable - it may take time, but we're confident June could be a great dog given time.
