Rio is an amazing dog. He loves attention and is very eager to learn. He does have some anxiety when there are loud noises such as fireworks or excessive thunderstorms. During these times he does best if his human is home. He was surrendered to our partner shelter for jumping on people. This has been easily correctable with us. A simple off or no and he stops. He walks great on a leash. He is both kennel and house trained. He is about 65 pounds and would do best with dogs within 20 pounds of his size. He loves to play with toys. Rio will need a home with a yard and that is not an apartment or attached living. He does like to howl. He would be great for an active family that will take him on daily walks and give him lots of attention. He may also benefit from a family member who works from home, is a stay at home parent, or is retired.
