About Copper

We all make mistakes, but sadly for Copper someone else's mistake may cost him his life! He was sent to a place he never should have been. �%9Dщ%9D�He is set to be put down in the shelter 7/19! �%9Dщ%9D�He has no control over where he goes and deserves another chance. Now he needs a Rescue and a Foster to save him. Sadly, Copper is no stranger to the shelter, he was here back in May then adopted and returned after 6 days. Copper had been such a great boy during his stay at the shelter, the shelter staff, volunteers and even his recent adopters had great things to say about him. �'ۢ Loves walks and great on a leash �'ۢ Kennel trained �'ۢ Enjoys playing with dogs, both a small and large dog �'ۢ Sits real pretty, minds his manners and take treats gently. �'ۢ Gentle, sweet and loves to give and get affection. Despite notes that Copper doesn't quite understand little tots with their unsteady and sometimes grabby movements he was sent home from the shelter with a 3 yr old and nipped when hugged. Everyone is ok, nothing a band aid couldn't fix. Let's get it right this time and get him a home with big people. 5 yr old Copper truly is a happy soul with a jaunty step. He does not use his size to tug or yank a handler; walks very calmly and nicely. He is very affiliative and will lean in for pets. This gentle boy enjoys life and gives off an air of contentment. Please help me, I need one foster to step up, just one.
