He came to the shelter as a stray on July 2nd and is now RED STATUS for Behavior. Per the shelter, 'Chance exhibited signs of kennel aggression since coming in. Dog was lunging, growling, and trying to bite as technician cleaned kennel. Would not allow technician inside kennel. Was moved to our treatment area for decompression. Now about two weeks later, he has calmed down a lot since he first came in. He knows how to sit when not distracted and seems to get excited when he sees the leash. Walking him by other dog kennels did not bother him. Took him into office area and he seemed a little nervous around everyone. Most recently, took him to play yard. Seemed to do a low growl. Took treats from us but would not eat them��%BD'��%BD|just crushed them. He is a water biter. Needs a lot more work. If you watch his video on his FB post, he looks like he is holding on to the handler for dear life.
