Allow us to introduce you to our newest pack member, Rosie. She was picked up by a good samaritan in the wynwood area of Miami after being thrown out of a truck. She appeared as though she had pups nursing off of her recently, and so we presume that she was used for breeding and was thrown out like trash when they didn't want her anymore. We refer to her as Mama Rosie sometimes because she was very clearly a mother and the day she was found, the people also found a tiny kitten and they said she took care of the kitten like it was her baby. We haven't yet had a proper assessment with her and other dogs but so far she is non reactive to all dogs, even to those who have been reactive to her while being in her kennel. A meet and greet will be required for any interest parties with other dogs/cats. Rosie unfortunately did test positive for heart worm, but she has already started on her treatment and we would really prefer to have her in a home environment before she needs to have the injections done. Despite what Rosie has gone through, she is a little ball of LOVE!! And we say little because she is no more than 40lbs! She loves all humans that come her way and just wants to be pet and loved on. In fact, if you allow her she would prefer to be your lap dog. Rosie is a lover and is looking for a foster or adopter who can make up for the people who didn't appreciate her before. We promise you won't regret it! Please contact us ASAP for a meet and greet with Rosie!
