About Elsie

Hello my name is Elsie and I am looking for a loving forever home. My rescue pulled me on July 6th from a small rural humane society in NC because I had been there awhile and had no interest. I am already fully vetted and heart worm negative. I am dog friendly, house trained and kid and people friendly. Not sure about cats since my foster doesn't have any to show me to see how I will react. My foster mom noticed I do tend to flinch and get scared of loud noises but I am doing better since I know I am safe. I have zero food aggression and no other behavioral issues that my rescue or foster knows of. I like to spend a lot of time outside sunbathing so I really need a fenced yard or someone who has access to land off the road where I can be kept safe while I am outdoors. My rescue thinks I probably spend a lot of my time outdoors before and they are probably right. Laying around in the yard or on the deck is my favorite. My birthday is 2/20/18 per my paperwork and I am around 60 pounds which is a good size for me.
