About Kira

We rescued Kira in July 2020. She was adopted with little known information on her experience other than living in a kennel day and night. Kira no longer lives in the kennel but has show continued issues with dominance and possessive traits. She loves males and is possessive over me due to working from home. She growls, barks and once bit my girlfriend when trying to help her pickup an treat. We have done training with Kira from September of last year to this past May. As training progressed she has show signs of listening more such as going to kennel or place (her bed) when asked. Outside has gotten better but as she got used to her area for walks, she became territorial and barks at kids or other dogs when walking. At the dog park she is a calm sweet girl where she only wants to be next to my side. She tolerates other dogs when they approach. She once looked like she was going to play with one but immediately ran back to my side.
