I need an active Retriever mix family home now please! Ready for transport leaving mid July! . Apollo is a 5 mos old 40 lb active Retriever mix I will do best with an active mixed breed experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am an energetic happy lad that LOVES my people unconditionally and other dogs. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, playing fetch, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. I will require daily runs and continual dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. . No cats! I was born without one hip, but a walk and act like a normal dog! Also, you must be 21 years of age or older to adopt any of our dogs. SHANYE'S FOSTERS is a group of foster parents in the Olympia/Tumwater area. We foster dogs for rescues and assist them in adopting/rehoming of their pups/dogs by listing on this site. Many dogs posted here are available to pre adopt NOW directly from the rescue. The only ones in foster in the NW specifically state that. We have very few fosters so most need to be pre adopted. All adoption fees go towards rescuing more dogs in need. No one receives a salary. Shayne's Fosters is not responsible for any experience you have with any dog you might see posted on this site. They are the property of the sponsoring rescue who will supply all medical supporting records which is given with each dog when adopted. Our adoption fees cover all medical costs to make sure the pups are appropriately vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and spayed/ neutered. It also covers the cost of our unit's transportation cost from Texas and the necessary health certificate documentation. The fees also include a negative heart-worm test for any dogs over 6 months. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and a myriad of other vetting. If the adoption fees seem high (which never cover the true cost of rescue), we recommend fostering for a good rescue. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees.
