About TROOPER

Trooper is 100% adorable! He's a Shih Tzu / terrier mix about 2.5 years old and right around 11-12 pounds (not officially a non-shedder but seems to be low-shed). Trooper loves, loves, loves to play with other dogs so we would like him to have a young and spunky and friendly dog sibling. If you don't have another dog, please consider adoptin Trooper and JJ together. They are in foster together and they love playing together all day long. Trooper doesn't have interest in playing with cats but doesn't seem to mind if they're around. Trooper is so pleasant, good with people, enjoys going for walks in the cool morning -- and he has a few favorite toys -- happy to play fetch with anyone willing to toss a ball. As this little guy is a puppy at heart and has a good amount of energy, we'd like him to have his own yard (grass would be stellar). This way he can run and play with his doggy sibling without the concern of the unknowns at a dog park. Trooper is just about the cutest thing around! He would be okay with kids but they should be at least 8 years old and responsible in nature. Trooper is vet-checked, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
