About Sage

Adoption Fee: $400
Australian Cattle Dog / German Shepherd
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

This pretty face belongs to Sage who was born in rescue on February, 2021, to a red Cattledog mom. We aren't sure who her dad is, maybe a German Shepherd. Sage is a spunky girl with attitude. She is also smart and knows sit, down, and even automatically sits when her person stops walking. Sages loves to learn and thrives with use of a clicker and treats. She loves treats! Click on the red YouTube button to watch Sage doing obedience. She loves to cuddle with her people and enjoys just sitting next to you watching tv (yes she actually watches the tv). She is aloof with strangers but will warm up once introduced properly. Sage is very agile and has no problem going up stairs or jumping on the couch or even the bed! She will need to learn some boundaries with her new family if they do not wish for these things. Sage is a little unsure on walks but continues to progress everyday. She can be reserved and unsure in new situations so she will need an owner that will give her the right direction and not feed in to her insecurities Sage is crate trained and will willingly go into her crate at night to sleep. She is house trained and knows how to sue the dogs door. She loves quiet, calm kids and other dogs. She does 'smile' when she's anticipating something she wants. A little grin of the teeth, totally harmless, and the cutest thing ever. Sage is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Sage is located in Southern CA. Adopters must be able to meet and adopt here. We do not ship our dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required.
