Contact us at: [email protected] Buddy is a two year old GSD/Labrador Retriever mix. DOB: April 18, 2019 Neutered. UTD with vaccinations. HW- On heartworm, flea and tick preventative. Knows some basic obedience, and is very motivated to learn. Buddy has lived with a 13 year old spayed Dachshund. Weighs approximately 105lbs. Buddy's caregivers were 80 and 85 years old. They could not give Buddy the exercise and attention that he deserved. He spent most of his time in an outdoor kennel, with an igloo doghouse, in a fenced in swimming pool/patio area. Buddy had free run of that area. Since Buddy has been in Rescue, he has learned that living indoors is a nice thing, as well as receiving more attention. We would like to see Buddy adopted by an individual or family that will include him in the family. He would be a wonderful companion for an active family. We recommend a structured obedience instruction class, and we could definitely see Buddy enjoying other activities and classes. We do not recommend him for a family with young children, due to his size. Buddy, like so many other dogs, deserves a home, where he is part of the family and he can enjoy life.
