About Murphy

Hi! I'm Murphy. My Foster Dad calls me Murphy Clown because I'm goofy and I make silly faces. My favorite face is where my tongue hangs out of the side of my mouth. My tongue has dark spots so it looks like I ate an ink pen. My favorite time of the day is meal time! I'm a great eater. I like snuggling and playing with my foster siblings. I would like a home with a dog sibling to play with. I'm good with other dogs and I like the company of another dog. I also get along with cats. I'm a year and a half old, so I'm grown but my Foster Mom keeps telling me I still need to learn to be a big dog. She thinks I act like a puppy. I know how to sit, wait and walk on a leash. I just have to be reminded not to jump on people when they come home. You see I get excited and sometimes forget. That is why I would be best off in a home where the kids are old enough to help remind me and not get mad when I forget. I'm trying but sometimes I get too excited then I'm all puppy in a grown dog's body. I like to go on walks and I am great on a leash. I can get scared when the crazy loud trucks go by so I need to be reassured that the noisy thing will not get me. I'm also a little timid around some men. I warm up to them but my Dad will have to be understanding that some men just scare me. I totally love the ladies. Stranger or long time friend, I love them all as long as they are ladies. I'm full house trained and I know how to use a doggie door. I have never had an accident in my foster home. I don't even have to stay in a kennel when the humans are gone. I like to sleep in a dog bed and snuggle next to my Foster Parents. If you would like to love me forever and be loved forever please apply to be my family.
