From her former foster mom: 'TINK responds to the new name HONEY BEAR. She is such a sweet gal. She has moments of bursts of energy and tries to get my dog to play with her. She is really funny. She now uses the doggy door!!' HONEY BEAR is very loving to her people. She is fine with other dogs in the home and is housetrained. She may even do well with a cat in the home. She loves treats and chewing on new toys. HONEY BEAR is a little skittish, so would do well with someone who is calm and patient and home a lot. BACKSTORY: This sweet gal was found by the Jerome County Sheriff 5/12/2021 wandering around Highway 25 and 1280E. She was taken to the Jerome Shelter. No one came for her. Friends Furever Animal Rescue volunteers could not bear the thought of her in a shelter with all her face swelling and leaking chest abscess, so they got her the urgent vet care that she needed and named her TINK. TINK received antibiotics and steroids to reduce the swelling. Her HEALING photo was taken only a week later, showing what a little love and medical care can do for an abandoned dog.
