About Raven

German Shepherd / Lab
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Raven is a loving & energetic 100 lb eight-year-old Black Lab & German Shepherd mix. She's agile and athletic; super smart and knows a lot of commands and tricks. Raven has a beautiful brindle coat and is very affectionate. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots/vaccines. We are still displaced from our home due to the wildfires and have secured a long-term rental that will not allow her to live with us. She is not happy at her current boarding location, and we have reached out to all Bay Area adoption agencies that help find temporary and permanent homes, but none are able to help us. It's best for her to find a new forever home where she can have the space and attention she needs. We love her dearly, and we want what is best for her. We are sad to think about her not being a part of our family, but recognize that she would get even more attention and more of her needs met in a new home. Finding her a new home is challenging as she has a number of special needs. Including: -Needs to take medication three times a day, and will for the rest of her life -Has some anxiety and barking -Has had infrequent aggression with some dogs in certain situations so will need to be in a home where she's the only dog -Does very well with our children, but is nervous around other children, so she will need to be in a home with no small children Please let us know if you'd like a flyer with detailed info about Raven and her strengths & special challenges.
