Courtesy Posting: 1.5 YR OLD, 59 LB CUTIE NEEDS A FOSTER BASED RESCUE TO SAVE HIM! DUKE Bakersfield, So Cal Duke is an adorable 1.5 yr, 59 lb, neutered male pittie/boxer mix who has been fully vaccinated. He is a beautiful, kind, sweet, scared, shy and gentle dog. He was abandoned in Bakersfield Desert and local animal lovers learned about him and a GSD roaming there and tried for over 7 month to get them to safety and finally were successful 2 weeks ago. Gets along with dogs and humans. He does not care to chase gophers or squirrels. He is a kind, sweet dog, that needs love to be back bring a happy dog. We are looking for foster-based rescue for Duke. He needs to be trained to walk on the leash since he cowers down and doesn't want to walk, trying to chew leash.
