Meet Jake Incredible dog alert!!! Jake and his sister, Riley, are absolutely wonderful dogs. They were surrendered when their owner fell on hard times and was not allowed to keep his dogs where he is staying. He contacted us because he knew they'd be safe until a forever home could be found for them. It was a heartbreaking surrender. Jake and Riley had been with their papa since they were six weeks old. The pair are now 11 years and 4 months old! Jake is a red shepherd mix. He is super sweet and friendly. Jake has wonderful manners. He's house trained and easy to walk. He loves going on the boat or ride in the car. Being a little older, Jake (and Riley) are both calm and collected. They enjoy going on walks, but a lot of exercise is not necessary for them. They are sort of Velcro dogs and like to be with their person and with each other. They do well around other dogs. They are friendly towards cats. They are of mellow temperament and have a positive, welcoming vibe. Jake and Riley miss their papa, but they are bravely handling their new situation. They have been together their whole lives and will be adopted together. They have been well taken care of and are in terrific health. They have so much life to live and love to give. If you're looking for two ready-made, laid-back senior fur babies to welcome to your life and heart, Jake and Riley are absolutely incredible. They will fill your world with love and comfort.
