Gracie was found wandering the streets last winter, thin, cold, hungry, covered in ticks. She's very healthy now and full of energy. We already have five other dogs and four cats, and five kids, and her energy level and predisposition to jumping our fence makes her not an ideal addition to our particular home. We had no intention of keeping her, but cattle dogs are hard to place in foster homes or shelters. She is submissive and cuddly and loves to play. Great with all animals and so very patient with children. She will chase and kill chickens. We have chickens so this is a problem for us. She would do so well in a home that has time to train her and play with her.
