About Jack

Meet Jack a 7 year old Chorkie, Chihuahua and Yorkie mix. Jack would like to be your jealous, possessive significant other. He may only weigh 7 pounds but he will act like he is 10 times bigger if he thinks you are in danger. Jack is extremely loving and attached to his person. He is only interested in a relationship with one person. He is a monogamous dog. He throws his whole being into that relationship. He will constantly be in your lap, by your side or at your feet. When you go to the bathroom he will guard the door. When you are sitting at the table eating he will be at your feet to make sure no one steals your food. When you sleep he will lay at your head to make sure nothing disturbs your slumber. This also means it is very difficult to have visitors to your house. He is willing to accept visitors as long as they don't get too close to you. If they move toward you they can count on having 7 pounds hanging from their pantleg. But don't think this means you have a guard dog for your home. If you are away he will let anyone in and hide from them. Jack is good with other dogs as long as they don't try to get between you and him. If your other dog starts to move closer to you, Jack will crawl into your lap, rub his head against your chin and paw at your face just to make sure your attention is on him. He will play with other dogs, but still wants to make sure he is your number 1. Your neighbors should be very tolerant or hard of hearing. He will alert you to any movements or new noises in your neighborhood. He has a very loud bark for such a small guy. A privacy fence would help, but he still has very good hearing. Because Jack thinks he is your personal body guard but isn't capable of doing an effective job of that, it means that you will need to keep him from getting himself into situations he can't handle. You will be the one telling him to calm down and to back down. You know the type. Jack is a very lovable guy, he just needs the right person to be able to handle his love.
