About Fiona

��%BD��%BD%BD%A0This pretty gal is Fiona, an Australian Cattledog/German Shepherd mix (per DNA test). She was born in May, 2020. She weighs about 38 pounds and should be done growing. Fiona knows her basics: sit, stay, down, leave it (even a treat on her paw!), come, and bed. She is house and crate trained. Fiona can be nervous meeting new people, but warms up with a polite introduction. She has also been ok with some dogs. She lived with another dog for a while. Due to Covid she hasn't had a lot of dog meetings so would do best as an only and be allowed to get used to meeting other dogs when out and about. That said, she loves the kitty she lives with! She should be good living with cats. Fiona is a ton of fun. She loves to play in water (click on the red YouTube button to watch her video). She also enjoys playing fetch. Fiona is good on leash and good in the car. She would be a fantastic adventure partner. Fiona is living with kids and they stress her out, even though they are polite. She simply needs a home without kids. To manage, she is given Prozac that can likely be stopped (per her trainer) when she is in a home that is a good fit- a home without kids. Fiona LOVES her toys ans puzzles. She is a real thinker who LOVES to please her people. She is incredibly intelligent and loves to be stimulated. She will bring her ball or rope to show she would like us to join sometimes too! Every time her people come home, she is eager and ready to give love and kisses! Fiona is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Vacaville, CA. A vet reference and home visit are required. We do not ship our dogs. All adopters must be able to meet and adopt in Vacaville.
