FREE TRAINING, TRANSPORT, SUPPLIES and TOYS will be provided to the family who gives 2-yr-old CHARLIE the chance he deserves! CHARLIE (formerly 'Ice') was rescued from New York City's high-kill pound only to end up abandoned nearly two years later at a cruel animal control kill pound in Champaign, Illinois. Details are vague but apparently CHARLIE escaped through an opening in the fence of his neglectful owner's backyard and bit a neighbor who may have been taunting him. CHARLIE's uncaring owner allowed animal control to seize him and wouldn't answer calls from advocates, rescues or the kill pound. Advocates quickly intervened to save the abandoned dog from the Champaign County kill pound, and CHARLIE is now safe in a training program in Chicago where he has excelled for the past two months rebuilding his confidence and learning to trust again with his terrific trainer, Manny Arroyo. Now we need to find a loving home anywhere in the greater Chicago area to place him. Known to be exceptionally loving and loyal to his previous caretakers, CHARLIE needs an experienced adopter who would be willing to continue to work with Manny whose services we will provide for FREE. CHARLIE gets along great with other dogs and older children. Click the YouTube button (above) to see CHARLIE's video which was recorded nearly two years ago by volunteers who were promoting the puppy for rescue from the disgusting New York City pound that shamelessly threatened to kill him. More recent videos are also available. If you are interested in making CHARLIE a part of your family, please call Andrew at (646) 387-9868. SAVE CHARLIE!
