About Rizzo

Please read post in it's entirety before applying! Rizzo is an approximately 5 year old Pekingese/Shih Tzu mix. She came to us terrible shape with bladder stones and heartworm positive. Rizzo had surgery several weeks ago do the bladder stones. She had just completed heartworm treatment and will be ready for a home soon. Rizzo will do best in a home who has someone home most of the time. Because of her bladder stones she requires a special food.Rizzo will also need an adopter that will be able and willing to help her continue to recover from her heartworm treatment. She will need to have restricted movements for the next several weeks. Rizzo is very sweet and would love to be someone's lap dog.
