One of the gentlest and most docile dogs we have ever rescued. An ideal family dog! We are only guessing at the breed of this extraordinarily sweet, very gentle two year old who looks like a lab x hound mix. River is quiet, a homebody, likes to gaze out the window and at 45 pounds thinks he is a lap dog. Great with kids, enjoys playing with other dogs. River is housetrained, well mannered very very easy going, affectionate. A lover and lounger. He is being treated for heartworm at our cost, 3 shot process, no longer a deal breaker.
