About Tally

UPDATE: This picture does not do her justice, as she is beautiful! It will take the right home for Tally to feel comfortable. Highly recommend an understanding adult only home most likely with no other pets, as she is very selective. Tally came into us in late April. The owner was moving and said she would not do steps and the new house had lots of steps. They said she would never do steps even as a puppy. We finally got her in to have a full set of hip x-rays done to make sure it wasn't a medical condition and it is not. Her hips look great according to Dr. Holmes. She had no problem jumping up in the car and out of it. She is about 3 1/2 years old. Her owners did a DNA on her and the results were: 25% lab - 12.5% each of Beagle, Boxer, Chow, German Shepherd and Mastiff. Truly a mix. She is a big girl at over 100 lbs. She seems to be fine with other dogs close to her size - we have no cat information on her. She is housebroken, current on shots, spayed and heartworm negative. If you give her 5 minutes to warm up she is very social. We would not recommend her in a home with kids under 12 - she is a big girl and she isn't fond of having her back end messed with.
