About Tuda

Adoption Fee: $175
Maltese / Chihuahua
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Intake Date: 26 March 2021 ----- DOB: May 2020 ----- Breed: Maltese/Chihuahua Mix ----- Size: 6 lbs ----- Status: owner surrender ----- Compatible with: dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with fenced yard. Possible apartment with adequate exercise. IS A BARKER at noises, strangers, etc. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none major noted. Requires regular grooming. ----- Additional Notes: Tuda is an adorable misfit. She is such a scraggly little girl. Tuda is very outgoing and bouncy but she can be shy with new people. She came to rescue with a nipping history. She seems fairly typical for a smaller dog. We haven't had any biting issues and she has done really well with our children. She gets really excited when she sees them so children are definitely a positive part of her past. Tuda came to rescue for her submissive peeing when picked up and nipping when corrected on it. We haven't witnessed either behaviors here and she has done fantastic for us. She can be VERY noisy when outside without us, so possibly some separation anxiety but she does settle down in her crate at night. Tuda is just a fun dog to have around! She does require regular grooming/brushing or her coat matts easily. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175. All residents are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. A secure physically fenced yard is required.
