About Beaux

Found as a 12 week puppy in La and brought to Fl. Beaux is now 3.5 years old and grew to be over 85 lbs. He may be ok with dogs his own size but seems unaware of his size and probably would hurt a smaller dog or child on accident. I would not recommend a home with cats. I am seeking a large fenced property where he can run in a colder climate. He is an indoor dog and requires air conditioning on days over 80 , likes to be groomed, has a triple coat so 6 week baths are recommended He has not been destructive with his toys, has never bitten, however he does guard over his food. Transportation must be arranged from North Fl. Has a great baritone bark but uses it only when needing to alert. Loves to play ball and seems to like water but has never been given the opportunity to swim. This dog isn't for anyone, He is not excessively needy but he is nervous in new settings. I recommend someone who knows how to how to handle a dog with an independent personality. He recently learned how to kill small prey like Rabbit, raccoon and possum and this should be taken into consideration before considering Beaux as a pet.
