About Lulu

Lulu was trapped in an industrial area in Houston, TX where she got into some food trays in a dumpster. It is clear someone abandoned this little girl and she had to fend for herself along with the other 1 Million stray dog in the cruel streets of Houston. Lulu was a bit underweight, suffered from heartworms, has horrible teeth with some missing in the front from tearing into things for food to survive. This poor girl was also shot by some evil person. She has a pellet/bullet lodged under her skin. Lulu was successfully treated for heartworms and is getting spayed and have the pellet removed along with a dental in mid June. After that our little girl will be ready for her very own loving forever home. Lulu has been very dog friendly here. She is also people-friendly. She may put up a tough front initially by barking, but she is nothing but a love bug who loves to cuddle up with you under the blanket. Lulu has not really discovered toys yet. She loves going for walks and going for car rides, and sitting on the front porch and alerting you when someone comes around like the mean delivery- or mailman. :-) Lulu is crate-trained and mostly house-trained with supervision. She is also micro-chipped, will be spayed and have shiny white teeth when she goes to her new home.
