Cort is an adorably quirky little fellow that is looking for a special family to call his own. We rescued Cort from the local County shelter, where he was at risk of euthanasia due to his tendency to try to bite when being picked up. Due to this, his adopters will be required to sign a bite waiver in understanding that he needs an adult only home who will provide him patience and support while working on establishing trust and boundaries in his new home. Otherwise, he is a silly little dude that does love attention. He really loves his treats and the way to his heart is through his belly! He does okay with other dogs overall, but his adopter should be aware that he has some possessiveness over his food and belongings and monitor accordingly/feed separately. Cort also would not mind being the only child and center of your attention! We suspect he would thrive best in a home with a secured yard he can run out to as needed for play time and potty breaks.
