About Sasha

Sasha was adopted from an animal shelter in Puerto Rico. She is one year old and weighs 16 lbs., medium size. Sasha is an Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua mix. She has all of her shots, is spayed and micro-chipped. Sasha is high energy and loves to run fast. Let her loose and she is like a horse in her stable. She does not run away but may circle around nearby only to return when called. She would not fit into a family with young children just now. She needs additional socialization and training. She can be possessive with her toys but is getting better with reward based reinforcement techniques. This gal loves being around people and playing fetch with her toys. Sasha prefers a fenced in area where she can let it all out and run. She enjoys a doggy playmate. A dog owner who wants a canine buddy to sprint alongside or fast paced walking would be ideal for Sasha because she has a lot of playful energy to burn. Sasha loves the beach and enjoys a run along the shoreline. She will dart in and out of the water but does not seem to like to swim. She is comfortable riding in the car. Sasha is very sweet and loves to cuddle and lick her human companion. She does not bark very much. Never whines but loves to talk. She gets along well with other dogs and people on her daily walks. Sasha can be left alone for short periods of time. Sasha sleeps all night long. She loves human interaction. Requirements: application, references. Only serious and responsible adopters and mature adults should apply. Meet and Greets are only conducted after an application has been submitted and approved.
