Chloe is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 15 pounds. When we first rescued her, she was paralyzed and was dragging her back legs. After seeing many vets we discovered that she had immune-mediated polyarthritis which the vet thinks was a genetic defect. But with several common medications, she was up and walking after a few weeks! It has been months and she is doing great and ready for adoption. She does have to take 2 medications daily as maintenance which will have to be forever. They are both inexpensive. She is beautiful with a white coat and a light beige stripe down her back. She struts her stuff when she walks, it's so funny. She is a happy, vocal girl who gets along with the other dogs and ignores cats. We would suggest no children. She is timid when she first meets new people. She loves to eat and play with her buddies and her toys. She always has a lot to say! She is house trained. Her adoption donation is $250 which includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. She is at a foster home so we are requesting an approved application prior to the meet and greet. http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/Project/chloe/ We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida. We have a page on our website that explains our adoption process, and contains a link to our adoption application. Here is the link: http://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information-2/
