About Apache

Apache, male, born Dec 6th 2019. Intact Meena, female age 3 spayed I have two very young children that are the light of my life, and full of energy. Apache and his mother Meena have been around these two little precious babies all of their lives They are gentle, sweet dogs with children of all ages. They are good around other dogs and would do well in a family setting that can give them the time and attention they deserve. Now the bad. They run. They escape all means of enclosures that we have tried. They have this need to run like I've never seen.. both just run. So, you would need a fenced in yard, a larger size yard would be best as they need to have their exercise. But if you leave that gate open they WILL run. I have spent more money than I have trying different methods to keep them inside our boundaries. I address the area Vets by their first name. My pits come back home, every time, but always worse for wear and usually a necessary trip to the Vet comes next. They have been together all Apache's life so for this reason I will not argue if you would like to adopt both mother and son together. But thinking the running might have something to do with something they like to do together. Perhaps separating will help that urge, habit, or need they seem to have. You should know that Apache has a mild case of ME, mega esophagus. I have found food that he does exceptionally well with and has had little issues since I've changed his diet. Their need for attention is more than I can give as my children come first. Perhaps they need you? '
