About CISCO

'CISCO' is an adorable 1-2 yr. old, 52 lb., Labrador Retriever/Border Collie/Pointer mix male who we rescued from a very high kill rural pound. 'CISCO' is a happy, affectionate, silly boy with loads of personality to accompany his good looks. (Cisco has a 'wave' of hair going down his spine). He is very, very smart, is very eager to please and attentive. Cisco gets along great with nearly every dog, and loves to play, so a resident canine companion in the home close to his age would be something he would LOVE ! He is an athletic boy so an active family would suit him best. Cisco has never been around cats, but due to his young age and breed mix, he'd probably do best in a home without felines. Children over the age of 6 yrs old would also be optimal. Cisco is neutered, fully vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped, on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
