About Dutchess

Welcome Dutchess to CCPAL Rescue. She is a gorgeous Border Collie/Lab mix is our best guess. She has a scratch on her head that she got while she was on the streets. It is fine and we will get hair back on the spot while at the rescue. She is shy and it takes a bit for her to warm up. Her action shen she is afraid is flight. Her best home will be with a social dog or a patient family to give her time to learn the ropes. She has not experienced much in the way of family life so she will need a gentle hand to bring her along. She is beautiful, smart and ready to learn. She is submissive with other dogs and will be fine with just about any other dog. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180.
