About Lady Mae

Pit Bull mix
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

May I have this dance? You won't want another partner once Lady Mae shows you her moves. Meet Lady Mae! This 9-year old female pit bull terrier mix still has lots of pep in her step and perk in her twerk. She is unbelievably people friendly. She is energetic, dances when she gets excited, and is just the best lady. She is 100% potty trained and very respectful of her things. A staff member took her for the night and said she was amazing. So easy to please, she loves a soft bed and blankets to sleep on. By ARK standards, Lady Mae landed in a shelter out of human selfishness. Envision this: You don't know why, but the people you live with are stressed, tired, and bustling around with boxes and things all over the place. Everything around you is changing, but then you luck out and get put in a room all by yourself with a delicious steak dinner. You are so happy to get away from the chaos and dive into this special treat when all of a sudden it's taken away, for no reason in your mind. Lady Mae was surrendered from the family she'd been with for SEVEN years. Instead of a steak she had a rawhide. When the room needed packing, the owner took the bone and Mae nipped her finger, leaving a small puncture. Sure resource guarding isn't good, but there are simple ways to handle a situation like this safely! In light of this, we advise an adult-only home and no other pets. We hope you agree that Lady Mae deserves more from humans in her golden years. She has so much to offer beyond this one incident. Hurry before her dance card fills!
