This young girl is now named Nadine. She was part of a surrender that included several dogs. She had had little to no socialization when she came into us but she has made tremendous progress and is now willing to interact with all of the staff. She has learned that having on a harness is not a bad thing. She is about a year and a half old. She is sitting patiently while we pet her. There is NO aggression whatsoever. She just has never had anyone actually try to pay attention to her prior to coming to us. She lived in horrid conditions. Had never seen a vet, had never had a shot. She is pretty tiny - just under 35 lbs. She will take some time, patience and lots of love. She looks like she inherited more of the 'terrier' look from her heritage. We are told that the older female on the property (which was a Heeler) was the mom to all. The two older intact males - one was a lab/terrier mix and the other one was probably a lab/flat coat retriever mix. She is spayed, current on shots, wormed, heartworm negative and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $250.00. She is available for our foster to adopt program or a straight adoption. We would recommend a fenced in yard for her as she still startles easily.
