About Robbie

Adoption Fee: $200.00
Lab / Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

UPDATE: Robbie has come a long way. We have posted a new video on our Facebook page at this link: https://www.facebook.com/PatriotsforPets/videos/322434686111435 This young guy is now named Robbie. He was part of a surrender that included several dogs. He has had zero socialization. When you try to pet him he tries to find some place to hide and you can see the lack of trust in his eyes. There is NO aggression whatsoever. He just has never had anyone actually try to pay attention to him. He lived in horid conditions. Had never seen a vet, had never had a shot. He isn't sure how to eat out of a dog bowl because he apparently was just fed by dumping food on the ground. Obviously he isn't housebroken. He will take some time, patience and lots of love. He is young - at just about a year . He looks like he inherited more of the 'lab' look from his heritage. We are told that the older female on the property (which was a Heeler) was the mom to all. The two older intact males - one was a lab/terrier mix and the other one was probably a lab/flat coat retriever mix. He is now neutered, current on shots, heartworm negative, wormed and micro-chipped. The road to recover for this baby is going to require work and lots of patience and love. Once he realizes humans are good to him we believe he will make steady progress. He has made steady progress at the shelter will the staff. His adoption fee is $200.00.
