(DOB 03/10/2021) Due to Iris' young age, she has not yet been spayed. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1.5 hours drive time of Wake Forest NC). Iris was born to a litter of 6 girls on approx March 10 and was found on Earth day in April! They were found under a shed and the mother and father are unknown. They are a very quiet group - I have only heard them bark 1 time. We think she is a hound mix? They all like to dig. Iris is a full brindle color and is one of the smallest of the girls. Iris is the most confident and is always the first one out to greet me in the morning. She loves her crate and uses the pee pee pads. As part of Iris' $275 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. If you have questions about this sweet little girl, you can email [email protected] If you wish to adopt Iris, you can fill in an online application for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
