About Annie

Annie is a two-year-old lab mix, weighing 60 lbs! Annie has so many wonderful attributes. She is potty trained and crate trained! Awesome! She is so comfortable with her crate, she sleeps curled up inside it at night. Annie is polite while walking on a leash. She loves to play with other dogs and is even respectful towards cats and does fine with them! We do recommend that playtime with other fur friends is supervised, as Annie is passionate about playtime and enjoys roughhousing! Being paired with a doggy sibling that can match her energy is at the top of Annie's wishlist! Annie does not have experience with children, and may best be suited in a home with older children only. With her high energy, she could knock over a small child or toddler without meaning to by jumping or bumping! Annie is a smart girl, who would benefit from further training as well as adequate exercise to hone her skills. She knows the command 'sit', 'go potty', and also recognizes when it is time to go to bed as well as when to go for a car ride! 'Let's go, Annie!' She will shine in an active family, always ready to go! Annie waits patiently for food and treats, but likes to have her space when chewing on a bone! She respects the other dogs in her current home in this way and expects them to do the same for her! She has no problem sharing soft, plush toys! She enjoys playtime with fellow dogs very much! Annie can be described as so many wonderful things. She's a lover. She wants to please her people! She's also an avid sniffer! She follows her nose and will require a secure, fenced-in yard to keep her and her nose safely inside! She's a runner! A fenced-in yard will also give her the room she needs to run and jump and relieve some of her 'puppy' energy, which labradors tend to keep into their early adult years! Annie would be a wonderful addition to a family who can match her energy, give her time and space to play, and continue to teach her how to act as a happy, well-rounded adult dog! She is a healthy girl, spayed, up to date on all vaccines and on heartworm preventatives! This is such GREAT news, Annie!
