About Foxtrot

Adoption Fee: $500
Great Pyrenees
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Adopt Foxtrot! Foxtrot is a 14 month old Great Pyrenees, whom was found wondering in rural Oklahoma. He and another male were emaciated, killing chickens to survive. The farmer caught them and surrendered them to our rescue and after searching high and low for owners without success, they went to a foster home, we got them up in weight and healthy, all vetted and now he has become available for adoption! He has been love and cherished in his foster home, they are sweet, gentle souls, love people and are even fantastic with children. Unfortunately we are seeing a lot of them homeless with this pandemic! They have been living on a small farm style foster home with a large pack of dogs where they have learned all about socialization with other dogs, exposed to horses and when tested in the home with cats had no reaction or prey drive present. All medical and neutering has been done and is up to date! He truly would be amazing in a pet home or on a family farm as LGD with proper training!!! He would be great with another dog in the home as he loves to play and also loves the water! He will do well with training given proper guidance and instruction and he is still at such a ripe perfect age to become the best family dog ever! He had no issue with crate or potty training as well but would need a refresher in a new environment. Foxtrot is more outgoing and so much a leader, excited to be loved on, loving, playful, sweet and a a ton of fun. He is still just a puppy as giants are puppies until two years of age and teenagers until 4 years, which is when they are fully grown. He will need a home that can help him perfect his manners and people skills with giant breed experience. We believe he would do best with another playmate in the home! He has proven not to be good with Chickens, so if a farm style home they will need to be where they can be separated from the chickens. We do require that all dogs are inside pets, pet friendly homes - never to be left out unattended outside if you are not at home where you can supervise them. We do not require fencing but you must leash walk if you do not have a fenced area for them to be safely secured. They spend their days romping in the pastures respecting the horses and other pack dogs, playing and loving life but they truly need and deserve a forever family to call their own!! We are located in Oklahoma, but we adopt nationwide can deliver nationwide or allow pick up!! If interested, please see our Facebook for more info on them or send us a message for an application.
