UPDATE ON ZYPP 10/27/21: I am the foster for Zypp. Not sure where all the information came from but I can tell you that he is absolutely fine with cats and has been since the moment he walked into our home. Our cat will snuggle with him on the bed and there are no issues. He does not chase it nor is he rough with it. He gets along fine with our female dog - must be fed separately and that is more on our dog than on Zypp - she gets pushy when it comes to her food. Zypp has never had one accident in our house - he uses the doggie door - goes out in the yard and does his business - no marking - no potty in the house. He is not nervous at all at our place. He just wants to be loved and craves for you to love him and pet him. He would be a lap dog if you let him. His only drawback is that he is a bed hog. He takes up his fair share of the bed. He is an amazing dog and would be great in a home that can give him the attention he so wants. He is not destructive when left alone. ORIGINAL POST: Zypp is ready to turn two. We were told he is a Shepherd mix. He is a good sized boy at 72 lbs. Very social and friendly. Is not fond of riding in a car. Is not a fan of cats. He gets along great with other dogs his size - may play too rough for small dogs, good with adults and kids. No cat information. He is housebroken. Does fairly well walking with a harness but can still do some pulling. He is a little skittish around new things so will need plenty of time to adjust. In order to meet or apply to adopt him you need to go to our website at www.patriotsforpets.com and submit an application. His adoption fee isl be $250.00. That includes neuter, current shots, heartworm negative, current on preventatives and micro-chipped.
