About Chief

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Chief is a five year old New Mexico Black dog that has been a beloved pet since puppyhood. Chief is currently in a home, has great house manners, is crate trained and house trained, and knows how to use a dog door. He likes people and other dogs, but would likely live best with a female or submissive male dog. He may also be happy as an only dog. His current family is moving and cannot take Chief with them. Chief is very loving and craves attention in typical Lab fashion. He loves to be around the family. He listens well and attended obedience class as a puppy. He doesn't realize he is a large dog when it comes to snuggling. Chief would make a great addition to your family. His brother Tonka is also looking for a home. They get along great if you are looking for a pair. PACA is a foster based rescue with no shelter to view our dogs. We have temporarily stopped all our public adoption events due to COVID-19, however we are still placing dog into loving homes by private appointment with approved applications. Completed applications will be given to the foster to coordinate meetings as everyone feels comfortable. This application helps us get to know you and your family a little better so we can find the perfect match! Application are found here: http://nmpaca.org/images/pdf_files/PACA_Adoption_Application.pdf Please email completed applications to [email protected] All our animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for tic born illness and heartworm prior to adoption. Our fee is $175.
